Be examiner-ready on AI governance โ in six weeks, not six months.
The Examiner-Ready Sprint is a guided, done-with-you cohort that takes your bank from "we have no AI program" to a complete, documented program โ with the evidence your examiners now expect, mapped to CRI, NIST, and the latest model-risk guidance.
AI is already in your exam. Is it in your evidence?
Regulators made AI a standing topic in every bank exam โ judged through the model-risk and third-party rules you already know. Most community banks have nothing to show. That gap is now a finding waiting to happen.
The OCC and Federal Reserve now raise AI governance in every standard examination โ oversight, controls, and vendor risk.
A community bank recently disclosed a breach to the SEC after an employee pasted customer SSNs into an unauthorized AI app. No policy. No evidence.
Smaller banks rarely have a dedicated AI or model-risk function โ but carry the exact same expectations as the big banks.
You really have three options.
When the examiner asks about AI, here's what banks typically do โ and why only one of them actually leaves you ready and self-sufficient.
Hire a consultant
โ Effective, but expensive โ and when they leave, the knowledge leaves with them. You're dependent again at the next exam.
Buy a template pack
โ A folder of documents you never fill out. It gathers dust, and you're still not actually examiner-ready when it counts.
The Examiner-Ready Sprint
โ Done with you. You build the real, documented program yourself โ guided every step โ and keep the knowledge for every future exam.
In six weeks, you'll walk away with a real program.
Not knowledge you have to go apply later โ the actual, finished artifacts, sitting in your exam file, ready to hand over.
Built for busy bankers โ nobody loses a workday.
A flipped-classroom sprint: short lessons you watch on your schedule, live time reserved for your questions, and a checkpoint each week so the material actually sticks.
1 ยท Watch
Short recorded lesson each week, on your schedule.
2 ยท Ask
Live office hours with Shon โ recorded if you can't attend.
3 ยท Prove
A quick assessment confirms your team understands it.
4 ยท Build
Finish each week with a real piece of your program.

Led by Shon Gerber, CISSP.
I've spent 20+ years in cybersecurity and risk, and I run live cohorts for a living โ my CISSP exam cohorts fill up and sell out, and I host the CISSP Cyber Training podcast, where I teach security to thousands. The format works because it's structured, practical, and accountable. I built the Examiner-Ready Sprint to bring that same proven approach to the AI governance problem community banks are suddenly facing, without the enterprise price tag or the fear-based pitch.
You're in experienced hands.
Shon has taught thousands of professionals โ through his podcast, college courses, and as a training instructor in the U.S. military โ the same clear, practical method he brings to the Sprint. All mapped to the standards examiners already recognize.
Join the first cohort at a founding rate.
Founding banks get the full sprint, shape the program, and lock in a rate we'll never offer again.
The Examiner-Ready Sprint

Our readiness promise. Complete the sprint and do the work, and you'll finish with a documented, examiner-ready AI governance program. If you're not confident you're ready, we'll keep working with you until you are.
The things banks ask us.
How much time will this take my team?
About two hours a week for six weeks โ a short lesson you watch anytime, plus optional live office hours. Because it's a flipped classroom, nobody has to block a full workday, and every session is recorded.
Who at our bank should attend?
The person who owns (or will own) the AI governance program โ usually compliance, risk, or IT. They earn the completion certificate. We also include lighter awareness material you can share with your board and staff. Your enrollment covers up to three people, so bring your compliance, IT, and risk folks together.
We have almost no AI. Is this still worth it?
Yes โ and it's easier now. You almost certainly have more AI than you think (it's built into vendor and core products), and standing up the program before an exam finds the gap is far cheaper than scrambling after. You'll also be ready as you adopt more.
Is this legal or compliance advice?
No. The Sprint gives you a practical program, templates, and evidence mapped to recognized frameworks. Your bank remains responsible for its own regulatory decisions, and you should involve your own counsel and examiners as appropriate.
What if we'd rather you just do it for us?
That's our hands-on advisory option. Many banks start with the Sprint and add advisory for pieces they want done for them โ just ask during office hours.
What do we actually walk away with?
A complete, documented AI governance program: policy, inventory, risk assessments, a vendor due-diligence process, and the examiner crosswalk that maps it all โ plus a certified program owner.
Get examiner-ready โ with a room full of banks doing the same.
Founding cohort, 8 seats, starts October 19, 2026. Reserve your bank's spot and walk into your next exam with the evidence in hand.
